Coach 9 rolls on all of its wheels for the first time - 9/8/2026.

Meanwhile, prior to yesterday’s successful installation of the trucks (wheels) – see photo above – work continues on the end platforms of coach 9. Recently, the end railings have been painted.

Meanwhile we’re just $4600 shy of our $120,000 goal to “Finish Coach 9 to the Nines!” – thanks in part from a generous grant provided by the Amherst Railway Society! Thank you for your continued support of this project.
Thanks for being a part of the Coach 9 team and your continued support.
