Notes:
All 30- and 40-class boxcars & flatcars were built for the Franklin Construction Company. (For use on the never-completed extension to Waterville and Farmington.)
Car 49, and all 50-class flatcars, were built for the Franklin Construction Company as “hopper-bottom” flatcars. Originally they were intended to be hopper cars, but the railroad changed the order mid-way through their construction.
Turner Center Dairy Association (TCDA) Reefer.
A replica of this car was built by the WW&F Railway Museum. During summer months, it is usually on display near the site of the TCDA Creamery in Wiscasset.
Survives at the WW&F Railway Museum.
 Originally built as a boxcar.
Many 300-class boxcars were built as W&Q flatcars, then later rebuilt into low-roofed boxcars, then still later had their roofs raised.
 Survives at Boothbay Railway Village.
All 500-class boxcars began life as W&Q flatcars. These boxcars were used in potato service – equipped with stoves to keep potatoes from freezing.
Converted from boxcar to refer; it was the last one operated by the railroad.
