The 103rd Regiment Returns Home to Maine.
In May 1919, after leaving the state of Maine in August 1917, and serving in France of over a year in the Great War, the men of Maine returned home. From here they would have to readjust to the life of a civilian.
On Memorial Day weekend come help us commemorate this event, along with the Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum.
Come see the military encampment as the soldiers practice military exercises. Also see how the home front was affected by the war.
Steam trains depart the Museum grounds at Sheepscot at:
10:30 AM • 12 Noon • 1:30 PM • 3 PM
for a 40- to 50-minute, 5-mile round trip, weather, equipment and crew permitting.
