Featuring WW&F Locomotive #9, Monson Locomotive #3 and Bridgton & Saco River Coach #11.
In partnership with the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. & Museum and the Boothbay Railway Village, the WW&F will host a once-in-a-lifetime winter steam event, designed to provide unique photographic opportunities of winter operations typical on the Maine Two-Footers 100 years ago.
See equipment from all five Maine Two-Footers in operation! — Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes No. 6/Kennebec Central No. 4/WW&F No. 9, Monson No. 3 and B&SR coach No. 11, plus other historic equipment!
Price is $400 per weekend session
Attendance will be limited to 50 people per weekend session. Participants will be split into two groups of 25, one group per train, to keep the photo lines manageable. Each weekend session will be held if at least 40 people have signed up by December 15th, 2016. Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag lunch. A box lunch can be purchased in advance for $15.
As a bonus, we will also offer a night photo session on each Saturday night. This will be outside, with locomotives under steam, if the weather allows. With any precipitation, the evening session will be indoors. Price is $75/evening session. Participants will be limited to 30 each evening session. Each evening session will be held if at least 15 people have signed up by December 15th, 2016.
Payment is due by December 15th, 2016. A full refund will be provided for cancellations received by December 15th, 2016.
