Join us Saturday & Sunday, August 10th & 11th as we celebrate summer and our 30th birthday with two steam trains, Model T rail car rides, hand car rides, a yard sale, food and live music!
Model T rail car rides will follow behind our regularly scheduled steam trains (subject to rail car availability). Try your hand at a hand car ride in Sheepscot yard!
Shop our large indoor Yard Sale both days. Yard Sale proceeds benefit the WW&F Railway Museum Archives! Our Yard Sale will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Picnic Food will be on sale both days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live music by Bitter Brew on Saturday!
Explore our shops and car barn. Learn what restoration projects we have underway, and how we have grown from an empty right-of-way to our current 2.6-mile railway over the last 30 years!
See the Narrow Gauge Railway Collection, a collaboration by the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. & Museum and the WW&F. The collection includes recently-arrived Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad Parlor Car Rangeley, the only Maine two-foot gauge Parlor Car ever built, Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Combine No. 14, Bridgton & Saco River Railroad Caboose No. 32, and B&SR Coach No. 16 Mount Pleasant.
Trains will depart Sheepscot Station from 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A special photo train will be run at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Please join us on the Sheepscot Valley Narrow Gauge this weekend!
